Experience Kings Island transformed into an enchanting holiday wonderland at Cincinnati’s premier holiday event, WinterFest! With more than seven million lights, ice skating on the Royal Fountain, dazzling entertainment, jolly good activities, festive attractions, holiday shopping and delicious seasonal treats, winter magic is spread throughout the park!​

WinterFest offers something for everyone, beginning each night with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony where the Eiffel Tower transforms into a stunning 314-foot-tall Christmas tree. Later in the evening, there is snow much fun to be had at the WinterFest Wonderland Parade -the gem of the event! Guests are invited to sing and dance with our merriment characters.

WinterFest Wonderland Parade

Start Time: Nightly at 8:30 PM

Guests will be treated to a grandiose showcase of dazzling displays and extravagantly decorated floats with the WinterFest Wonderland Parade filled with classic holiday themes such as toy boxes, gingerbread houses, choo-choo trains, and more. Your favorite WinterFest merriment characters, singers, and dancers will take part in this magical nighttime Christmas parade and maybe, just maybe, Santa Claus will join, too!

Let our world class performers put the spirit into your season. Enjoy your favorite holiday live entertainment including The Yuletide Follies, the popular Tinker’s Toy Factory, Swingin’ into Christmas and so much more.

Lights & Sights

Enter WinterFest and be transported to a whole new world as you experience warm displays of soft, ambient holiday lights. Chill out in the ice and snow or take a walk down Candy Cane Lane. Gather around to watch brilliant lights dance to festive holiday music or take a trip back to heart-warming holidays of yesteryear with traditional sights, sounds, and experiences.

Fill your night with holiday fun like skating on Snow Flake Lake, decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus and getting a family photo with the big man in red himself!
